Subhiksha Agri Foundation (SAF) serves as a ray of hope for farming families in India, particularly those affected by the tragedy of suicide. While our primary focus is on supporting farmer suicide-affected families, we strive to assist all individuals and communities facing hardship in the agricultural sector.
Our process involves Farmer family counseling, providing tailored livelihood plans, and up to 90% project funding. With regular visits and farmers meetings, SAF strives to empower farmers towards self-sufficiency.
About us
Founded in 2016, SAF is dedicated to aiding vulnerable farmer families in India, with a special emphasis on those affected by suicide.
SAF was founded by Rambabu Virgineni and Murali(IT professionals), along with Narendar Garidi, a rural development expert.
In 2016, Rambabu Virgineni was the driving force behind Subhiksha's inception. He was deeply moved by news articles shedding light on farmer suicides at an alarming rate and the suffering of those families back in his homeland. Despite the physical distance, Rambabu was united with his friend Murali and Narendar by a shared vision to make a meaningful impact.
Despite its official registration in 2022, the organization has had its on-ground presence since 2016 to provide unwavering support, empower livelihoods, and uplift the spirits of those affected by the agrarian crisis. Through a comprehensive approach, the foundation aims to break the cycle of poverty and build sustainable futures for farmer families across the nation.
